Austin Butler was born on August 17, 1991, in Anaheim, California to Lori Anne and David Butler.
His mother worked as an aesthetician who died in 2014 from duodenal cancer.
When Butler was seven years old, his parents got a divorce.
He also has an older sister Ashley Butler who has worked with Austin in his debut show Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. Both worked as background actors on the show.
