Franklin Roberto Lashley, known as Bobby Lashley, is a popular name in wrestling known for his explosive career. Lashley is currently signed to WWE and performs on the Raw brand. He is an eight-time world champion with two WWE, two ECW and four TNA world championships.

Other than wrestling, Lashley is also known for his mixed martial arts career. He is also a two-time Armed Forces Champion and won a silver medal in 2002 at the CISM World Championships, competing against the best of the world’s military.

Bobby Lashley was born on July 16, 1976, in Junction City, Kansas, to Clara Lashley. His father, whose whereabouts are not known, was a US Army drill sergeant. His mother was a single parent who didn’t know any English.

Growing up, Lashley lived in a very unstable environment with the family often moving from one military base to another. He has three older sisters, one of whom is employed in the US Air Force.

Lashley had his first daughter, Kyra, in 2005 from a woman whose identity was never revealed. Bobby was in a relationship with the former WWE wrestler Kristal Marshall and the couple together has one son and a daughter.

  • This resulted in a knee injury that required surgery, thus ending his amateur career.
